About Same Old Detroit
Same Old Detroit is operated by House of Sheedy LLC, doing business as Same Old Detroit, based in Nashville, Tennessee. These Terms apply to purchases from our store and use of our website. Our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy also apply.
Orders and payment
Please give us accurate contact, billing and shipping information and use a payment method you're authorized to use. Prices are in US dollars. Taxes and any shipping charge are shown before you pay.
Your order confirmation records your purchase. A shipping confirmation tells you when something has shipped. If we can't fulfill an order, we'll contact you and issue any required refund. We won't substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
Preorders and Season One
A preorder is a purchase made before the product is ready to ship. The ship-by schedule appears on the product page and in our Shipping Policy.
Season One is a single $99 purchase for the stated Season. It's paid once and doesn't renew. The box ships by December 15, 2026, followed by one story shipping by the 15th of each month from January through May 2027. The Starter Set is a separate purchase and isn't included in Season One.
Product descriptions and studies
Images labeled study, mockup or prototype show work in development. Material details still being developed are identified in the product description before you buy. A study label doesn't change what's included in your purchase, our shipping commitments or your legal rights. Screens can change how colors look.
Shipping and refunds
Our Shipping Policy covers ship-by dates, shipping charges and gift orders. All sales are final, except where the law requires a cancellation, return, replacement, refund or other remedy. See our Refund Policy.
Waitlists and coming soon
Joining a waitlist, including The Fitting's, isn't a purchase. It doesn't charge you or reserve an item. Anything marked coming soon isn't for sale unless a purchase option is offered.
Website content
Our text, artwork, designs and branding are protected by intellectual property law. Buying a product doesn't transfer those rights. Please don't use the site for fraud, unlawful activity, unauthorized access or infringing anyone's rights.
Stories and other contributions
If you send us a story, photo or anything else, you need to have the right to share it. Any permission to publish or adapt it comes from the specific consent you give when you submit it, or from a separate agreement. These Terms don't transfer ownership of your contribution.
Privacy and email
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Order emails are separate from marketing emails, and the signup choices you make govern the marketing ones.
Changes
We may update these Terms for future use and purchases. The terms in place when you placed an order still govern that order, unless the law requires otherwise or we agree to a change together.
Applicable law
These Terms are governed by Tennessee and federal law, without limiting consumer protections that apply where you live. Nothing here excludes a right or remedy that can't legally be excluded.
