Orders and shipping
Q: When will my order ship?
A: Our launch books are preorders, and the ship-by date is on the product page before you buy. Pop, Ope, Rah Rah Rah and the Starter Set ship by December 15, 2026. "Ships by" means we hand your order to the carrier by that date. Transit time comes after.
Q: Where do you ship?
A: Within the United States and to Canada. Shipping rates and details are in our Shipping Policy.
Q: Can I ship to someone else?
A: Yes. Enter their address as the shipping address and yours as the billing address.
Q: Can I change my shipping address?
A: Email pop@sameolddetroit.com with your order number as soon as you can. We'll tell you whether we can make the change before it ships.
Q: What if I order more than one thing?
A: Each item follows its own schedule, so things may arrive in separate packages. The details are in our Shipping Policy.
Season One
Q: What is Season One?
A: Six stories, one $99 purchase. It's paid once and doesn't renew. No monthly charges. Your box ships by December 15, 2026, then one story ships by the 15th of each month, January through May 2027.
Q: Does the Starter Set come with Season One?
A: No. The Starter Set is a separate purchase.
Refunds
Q: Do you accept returns or exchanges?
A: All sales are final. We don't accept change-of-mind returns, exchanges or cancellations, except where the law requires it. Please choose carefully.
Q: What if something arrives damaged, defective or wrong?
A: Email pop@sameolddetroit.com with your order number and what happened. Photos help. We'll make it right with the repair, replacement, refund or other remedy the law requires.
Q: What if my preorder runs late?
A: We'll tell you. If the law gives you a right to cancel because of a delay, you can cancel the unshipped items and get the refund the law requires.

The brand
Q: Are you officially licensed?
A: Nope. Same Old Detroit is independent and unaffiliated with any team or league. We're fans making things for other fans, and we stick to the stories, jokes and memories that don't make the record books. Hi to any league lawyers reading this: we respect you, we love you, we wish your family well.
Q: Who's behind this?
A: A lifelong Detroit fan who needed somewhere to keep the stories that never made the record books, plus a dad who's now technically a mascot. Same Old Detroit is run by House of Sheedy LLC in Nashville, Tennessee.

Q: How can I suggest a design or a story?
A: Use the form on our Contact page or send us a note.
Q: Do you do collaborations?
A: Yes. We love partnering with bars, artists and community spaces that share the same heart for the city. Reach out.
Q: How should I wash it?
A: Cold wash. Air dry. Good things age better when you let them.
Q: Will you restock sold-out items?
A: Usually, if enough people ask.
