Short version: We're fans making things for fans. We try hard to get every detail right, and this page spells out what we can and can't promise in plain English.

Fan brand

Same Old Detroit is an independent fan brand. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, any professional team or league, any university, or any player, coach or celebrity. All trademarks, team names, logos, mascots and likenesses mentioned belong to their respective owners and are used for identification, commentary or nominative fair use only.

No professional advice

Nothing on this site, or in our emails and social posts, is legal, financial, medical or professional advice. We share stories and opinions. For the serious stuff, talk to a licensed pro.

Product details, color and fit

Colors can look different from screen to screen. Small shade variations are normal.
Images labeled study, mockup or prototype show work in development. See the product description for what's included.
Garment dyes, puff inks and specialty finishes may soften, fade or crack over time.
Sizing varies by style, so check each product's size chart.

Care and wear

For the longest life: wash cold, inside out, and air dry or use low heat. Heavy heat and vintage finishes can speed up wear, fading and cracking. If you like the broken-in look, go for it. It's intentional, not a defect.

Orders, pricing and availability

We reserve the right to correct pricing or availability errors and to cancel any order listed incorrectly. If we cancel, we'll refund what you paid.
Quantities may be limited, and some items are made in small batches.
Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is collected where required by law.

Preorders, shipping and delivery

Launch books are preorders. The ship-by date is shown before you buy and explained in our Shipping Policy. "Ships by" is not "arrives by."
We ship within the United States.
Once a carrier scans your package as delivered, risk of loss passes to the recipient. If it's marked delivered but missing, email pop@sameolddetroit.com and we'll help you work it out with the carrier.
Carrier delays from weather, holidays or routing are outside our control, but we'll tell you what we know.

Refunds

All sales are final, except where the law requires a cancellation, return, replacement, refund or other remedy. See our full Refund Policy.

Promotions and discount codes

Promos can't be stacked unless stated. Start and end dates and exclusions may apply.
Price adjustments aren't guaranteed after a sale ends.

Stories, reviews and other contributions

If you send us a story, photo or anything else, you need to have the right to share it. Any permission for us to publish or adapt it comes from the specific consent you give when you submit it, or from a separate agreement. Posting a review or tagging us on social lets us feature that post with credit where practical. We'll remove anything hateful, spammy or unsafe.

We sometimes link to other sites. We're not responsible for their content or policies.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Same Old Detroit will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages from your use of our site or products. Where the law allows a limit, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. Nothing here limits rights the law doesn't allow us to exclude.
